PPT and PPS

I notice that ZW only gives the option to open PPT files and load them... there is no way to bring a PPS into the Play List. (Guess what - most of my files had been saved as PPS, and yes I know we can change the suffix to change the way PowerPoint handles the file). ANyway, my question is:-

Is this by design (and therefore could ZW be changed to allow PPS to be used), or is it by constraint (ie: simply not possible to design the program to work with PPS the way you can with PPT)?

Fair request - I'll have a look into it.

Thanks for your comments.

Hi Paul,

I've been doing a little playing around with this and I've found that it is actually possible to put .pps files into the playlist. To achieve this, open ZW with PowerPoint enabled, then go into PowerPoint and use the open dialog box from within PP to open your files. You can then switch back to ZW and the .pps file(s) will be open in the "Active Presentations" list and so you can put them into the service list like any other presentation.

I know this works with PP 2003 so hope it works for you!

Cheers,
Chris

It's all in the design 8)

(Yeah right... Nice fluke though!)
