We are using a a toshibia satelliate latop.
It supports dual display fine. But quite often when we
try to use zion worx, on the projector screen rather
than displaying the words it streches the operators screen
across the laptop display and the projector screen (the words
are no where to be seen).
No amount of fiddling fixes things, it just seems ocassionaly
to work fine.
Anyone had similar problems?Any ideas?

thanks a lot

Might need to unmaximise the operator screen and move it back to the laptop monitor.

There are two ways which graphic cards handle two outputs. One is in software and the other is in hardware. In hardware there are two independent memory chips called RAMDACs one for each screen. In software there is only one which handles both screens as one big virtual screen, in this case the software splits the large virtual screen in half to perform the split.

Find out what graphics chip you have and get the latest drivers. Then search newsgroups for any mention of this problem. It maybe external to Zionworx. Or it may be an incompatibility. If it is the former and you find a solution please post it here along with the graphics chipset name.

Please post up:
your windows version
your graphics chip model and manufacturer
your graphics driver version

kind regards
