Insert a blank line into a lyrics slide

It would be great to be able to insert a blank line into a lyrics slide without causing a split to a new slide. Maybe something like Alt-Enter or Ctrl-Enter or Space-Enter. Please?

Ahh yeah this catches everyone out

ALT + 255

Hold down the ALT key and tap 2 5 5 on your keypad, then release the ALT key - this inserts an invisible character and creates a new line.
We use it HEAPS now - we've some default images with "black" areas on them that we use behind notices etc - so use this trick to move the text down to line up correctly
