Line wrappping and database updating

Postby ronfromkwon » Thu Feb 15, 2007 11:07 pm

We've been using Zionworx for a few months now and have to say that it is working well for us.

Two things that would make life so much easier for us...
1) prevent orphan words:
We often find that a single word or part of a line is displayed on its own page because of the way that long lines are wrapped.
It would be good if the whole line was kept together.

2) I think this has been mentioned - but it would be good if there was a way of forcing the database to be updated if we make changes to a song. Often, we find a mistake (or put blank lines in a song to get round problem 1) and then have to save and restart Zionworx to force the database updates to be included in the current song list.

Updating a song

Postby AliBy » Mon Feb 19, 2007 10:42 am

If you have made changes (spelling etc) it does update in the database. but you have to reload the song.
Simply select the song in the playlist and project it again (i.e. double click it in the song list).
It does of course mean that it starts displaying from the top again. Which is a bit of a frustration. Hopefully it might be streamlined later, but at least you can work around it for now.
