We've had a few problems recently getting back to song projection after using a PowerPoint.
Turns out our operator had set up the next song before opening the slide show, and he was trying to display the song by clicking on the first verse in the right hand column.
We now understand how to make it work properly, but I wonder if anyone else has got stuck this way. Is it possible to adjust the program so that our operator's method does work?
Thanks again for a great program!

Our problem went something like this.
1. Our service list contained both songs and powerpoints.
2. The next item on the list was a song. Our operator cued it up, showing the background but not the words.
3. The service leader decided to do things in a different order and to show a powerpoint before the song. This all worked fine.
4. After the powerpoint the service leader announced the song.
5. The operator, seeing the words of the song in the right hand column clicked on the first verse to display the words. They did not display.
The solution in the end was quite simple - open the song again from the service list.
I wonder if it would be possible to amend the program so that our operator's method would work. Alternatively, is it possible to stop displaying the song words in the right column when a powerpoint is displayed?
Sorry to be a pain but our operator got very confused.
James

Don't you just have to stop the powerpoint with the red stop button before going to the next song?

Yes. If you use ZW to show PPT and songs at the same time, then PPT gets the priority (which is the wrong way around for song projection software!!!). See
http://www.zionworx.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=500&highlight= for where I posted this before.
It is very important that PPT is not active (see the blue bar on the management screen) if you want to show songs.

Thanks - it is always comforting to know someone else has faced the same issue.
On a slightly different note our operator got confused this week because we used an animated powerpoint. The animation worked fine on the main screen, but the display on our laptop got 'stuck'. It changed slides fine, but then got 'stuck' after the first part of the animation appeared.
Anyone know anything about this?

The preview is a snapshot of the slide at a particular time that is captured when the slide/action is initiated or a few moments after. So there is no real time updating of the preview image as an animation occurs. This is probably something that will be looked at in the future.
