Changing the background colour of cued text

Postby paulstokes » Mon Aug 29, 2005 10:44 pm

Someone raised the question of the background colour that highlights the next slide that is about to be displayed. This CAN be changed, provided you are happy to change part of your Windows display colour scheme (so I suspect it will be more acceptable on dedicated machines than on your customised laptop display!)

In WinXP...
(NB - make sure Zionworx is NOT loaded)

Go to "Display Properties" (right click on desktop and select "Properties")
Select "Appearance" tab
Select "Advanced"
Either...
...in the section marked "Item" scroll down to "Selected Items"
or...
...click on the word "Selected" (right of Normal & Disabled in the picture)

The box for "Color 1:" is the colour that Zionworx uses. Set it to whatever you fancy. You can also set the font colour.

Click "OK"
Click "Apply" or "OK" (depends if you want to fiddle around a bit longer, or are happy with your choice).

Voila!

(Hope this make life better for some folks who'd prefer a colour change.)
