Service List resizing

Postby dgillham » Sat Mar 06, 2004 10:51 am

Two more wishes. First, for the service list to be resizable. On a Sony VAIO C1VFK the service list is simply not displayed when ZionWorx is maximised and is extremely small and unsizable when minimised. The C1VFK has a screen display area of 1024 x 480 which is about one-third shorter than a standard PC monitor display. Alongside this might be a need for vertical scrollbars on the display status window

Second, and really quite unconnected to the VAIO, an option to select a particular portion of the current song for display. Presently, the software decides what it will display (i.e. how many lines) and can be inconvenient to the display purist

1) A settings dialogue for all window sizes (or at least an ASCII ini file which we can edit). The beginnings of a layout save/load facility such as that featured in Adobe Premier. Ideally all objects need to be divided into scalable palette style windows with sticky edges for easy alignment (see photoshop).

2) Arbitrarily placeable page/slide breaks. Perhaps done using a special markup character not visible on the output screen, and toggle-able visibility on the control screen to avoid confusion to grunt operators.

Yes please :D
