Hi, I have only just stared to use ZionWorks, and have had a request from our worship leaders. Does anyone have the complete Methodist Hymn Book in a Datebase? I can't beleave that nobody has ever typed or scanned in all the hymns.

Regards

Bill

Bill,

I found 322 non copyrighted hymns at this site:
http://www.hymnsite.com/hymnstor/hymndisk.sht#CD

Download the HymnDisk Floppy. By the way, I have transferred them to Excel which I believe you may use it to import into the database. If you manage to lay your hand on the other half (copyrighted), I would be interested to have them. At the moment, I just type them as and when required.

Shalom,
William

 i am not methodist, I am Assemblies, but we use a wide Fariety of songs even the methodist songs and my thoughts are the more songs in the database the better chance of having the right one

I agree with you. The more the better!

If anyone is interested in having my db of Methodist Hymn (only 322 of them), please send me an e-mail. You may then import it into your db. Perhaps it is a good idea to share songs rather than everyone is trying to cut-and-paste.
:D

For some more recent compositions check out
http://www.virtualchurch.org/vcwelc.htm
and their music page(s).

Some of this is copyright but looks as thought the composers/lyricists are accessible to seek permission.
