Would it be beneficial for people here if we had a section where we can post and share royalty-free background images?

Sorry to be dull, but I'm afraid I am a lawyer! .

I suggest that if we get this off the ground, anyone submitting a b/ground would need to confirm not just that the image was "royalty-free" but also free from any copyright or licence restrictions. Sometimes, images are licenced or available royalty-free, but subject to certain restrictions, such as crediting the copyright owner, which could be cumbersome.

Copyright (in England, at least) will exist in any image automatically, and belong to the creator/photographer in the first instance. The best images to use and share are those which you have taken yourself. You can then be certain about the copyright position!

Yes--- An idea on sharing.

If you email your backgrounds to backgrounds@zionworx.org.uk.

I will create a Backgrounds Area on the website which I will upload them to and put a smal thumbnail screen shot so if you want to download them you can.

This also means I can virus scan the files before they go onto the server.

Please send them as Zip files as this format is a much better format for downloads.

i already emailed like 8 or so pics i use, i got them off websites free and use them free, rather they are copyright or not i do not know, i hope it was cool, if not i will not do it anymore, but anyways be safe and be blessed
