Christian,

my Church and I would like to thank you and Praise God for your program.
After 10 yrs of "struggling" with an overhead projector, we were recently blessed with a data projector and, ultimately a PC (with dual head card at my insistance) and, of course, Zionworks!

We write all our own songs and by copying and pasting from word into "add song", your program has enhanced our Praise and Worship enormously.

We ran it for the first time this Sunday, 1st Aug 2004 and it worked faultlessly!

Once again Thank you.

Thanks Andrew!

It's great to hear of your church's experience 'down under' :)

Best wishes to you all,

Christian.

Keep going everyone! Version 3 could be come really good!
I am going to suggest this to get instead of SongPro just because it's free. SongPro's next version will be 240 GBP, which is a lot. Of cause it's a bit more sophisticated. But now I am going to play around with ZW and see how comfortable it is to handle.

One strength of SongPro is that you can navigate everything via the keybord during the whole service - no need to use the mouse! It would be great if ZW could do that as well: Preselecting the next portion to be displayed, moving from song to song and so on...

Hi there,

Thanks for your encouragement!
About keyboard shortcuts, you should be able to do most things with a combination of the following keys:

Tab: Move between main windows
PgUp/PgDn: Skip between song sections
F3: Previous song
F4: Next song
F10: Fade to black
F11: Background only
F12: Background + text
Enter/Space: Add song to list/Load selected song/Display cued text

Hope that helps...

Christian

Indeed the keyboard shortcut is very useful when our wireless mouse went on strike on one Sunday morning. We have to operate everything from the keyboard and since then it is my de facto operating mode.

I have to admit that I am a keyboard shortcut man as well. I have also trained everyone at my church who uses zionworx to use the keyboard shortcuts - it's much easier (especially with a touchpad mouse on the laptop!).
