BibleGateway verses not retrieving

Due to some changes on the BibleGateway website the ZionWorx interface to BibleGateway is no longer retrieving the verses.

We are working on a resolution to this issue as a high priority and will notify here when we have an update.

Me too - it would seem that Bible Gateway have changed the format of the webpage again. You need to get them to generate an XML/SOAP application and to publish a schema - that would stop (or should stop) changes to the ZW application everytime BG change something on their website.

Hi.

To give people an update of where things were at with this. We had fixed the initial problem but now we have found that Bible Gateway have also just updated the URLs that they are using to reference the bible pages so further work is required to update to match that. Hopefully we will have this sorted within the next week.

We regret the inconvenience this causes people as we appreciate that it is a well used area of ZionWorx. We appreciate your patience with this.

Just wondering if there is an update on this issue. Having the biblegateway interface in Zinworx was great, as I could generate the complete service in one place. Another advantage was that the bible passages were identified separately from songs in the service lists, which makes automatic extraction of song titles (for compiling CCLI returns) simpler as I did not have to filter out the bible readings.

Started on the update but have been caught up with work, family and everything else other than beng able to complete this. Unfortunately can't give an ETA other than hopefully soon.
