Zionworkx requires admin user

Hi

I have just installed Zionworx 2.6 on our new church laptop, but can't run it. It says - You must be logged is as administrator - I am. I am running Vista Home Premium. It runs successfully on my own laptop running Vista Home Basic.

Can you help?

Is this the first time that you have run the software on this computer? The first run of the software creates the settings files, and that would need (I think) admin rights.

Or, permissions have been changed on the installation folder - did you install ZW in the default location for Vista (Program Files for the program and have not moved the database (from c:\ProgramData where it is installed by default)?

Or do run it as administrator and see if that fixes it. Note that being logged in as the "administrator" user account gives you admin rights, but being logged in as any other user who is a member of the administrators group does not grant these rights unless you run the software in elevated mode (right-click program and choose "Run as administrator").

The other reason is that you need to be an admin user to enter the licence key. Once that is entered then it will run as a normal user.
