Export song file from PC to laptop ?

Hello,
I usually work with zionworks on my PC to prepare my services.
I edit all my songs on this PC.
I would like to export these songs on my laptop to avoid re-writing them again on my laptop.
Is it possible ?
I dont find any of the songs in my Zion directory. Where can i find them ?

If I understand your question correctly, you can transfer the songs from on machine to another by copying the data folder. Note that the backgrounds and settings could be different between machines so I would create the songsets on the Church machine. (it can be transferred between computers too if you wish, but it is more complicated than simply copying the database of songs.)

The simplest way to transfer songs between two PC's running ZionWorx is add the songs to the play list in ZionWorx on PC 1, then save it to a USB disk and later simply open it in ZionWorx on PC 2. If any of the songs in the play list are not currently in the song database on PC 2, then you will be prompted whether you would like them to be automatically copied across - just hit OK and that's all there is to it.

Note: We introduced this feature in v2.6.01

Really? I guess I should read the changelogs more closely. Previously the songlist was just the meta about the presentation of a particular song...not including the song lyrics which were in the database. Are the lyrics now in the XML? I haven't looked, but I doubt it. Where does the song data come from when copying to PC2?

They certainly are! That's the basis of my script to convert SongPro format files to Zionworx ones.

As noted - they are included.

When a song list is opened on PC2 if the song title is in the PC2 database then it will use the data in the database. Otherwise it will prompt the user if they want to import songs not found as Christian mentioned - but use the data in the song list regardless.
