Errors ouccring in zionworx 2.6.42

hi every now and agin I get an error message saying

Access violation at adress 004718FC in module 'ZionWorx.exe'. Read of address 00000010.

anyone have any ideas whats causing this.
I downloaded the full version not the update because I like to test it be for putting it on the church computer just in case something go wrong like this.

We will need further detail then just 'now and again' to investigate this. Can you describe what you were doing prior to the error message. Is it repeatable? What operating system and versions of Office are you trying to use.

that is exactly the message i get when i try to open zionworx with powerpoint enabled. this has only been since i downloaded this version on thursday.

i run xp and office 2003.

it never happended on my old computer, i had a new version downloaded in january. is it a problem with the latest download?

I am running win xp with powerpoint 2003 it once one error comes up it happens when ever you try to add a song to the play list, try to veiw a song every action you make and it even happens when you try to close zionworx and it keeps poping up so you can't close it.
It seems to happen intermintenly but it dose happen ever time you use zionworx.

Have you applied all windows and office updates? That was the solution for jeneale.
With the same set up as you, I have not experienced these problems.

I seems to be getting this message after I have upgraded it to the latest Zionworx version v2.6.42

Access violation at add 00471854 in module 'zionworx.exe'. Read of address 00000010.

It comes out when I have saved the playlist and then tries to edit the playlist by adding or deleting song(s).

I am running on windows xp home and microsoft office (without the powerpoint application). So I have disable the powerpoint since I don't have powerpoint install on my laptop.

Any idea how I solve this?

Not just the latest version of Zionworx, but the latest update to Windows XP and Office 2003 (or whatever version of Office you are running). Visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and make sure that you are running the "Microsoft Update" version (see under the word "Welcome" on the screen, and not using just Windows Update. Microsoft Update will update Office as well and Windows.

I have already done all the updates - both windows xp and office 2000. I have already disabled the powerpoint support since my Office doesn't have Powerpoint application.

However, the error message still pops up. Sometimes, the error even occurred when I am adding songs to the playlist. Once I restart the application, this error message will not appear.

I have just installed version 2.6.42 and had the Access error 00471854. It was as I was trying to save a global default style (very useful feature by the way). I'm running XP Pro, Office 2003, all fully updated.

Hi,

I experienced the same type of access violation error after I saved one of the photo backgrounds as the global default style. The error would come up everytime I added a new bible verse to the service list. I was able to display stuff I had on the list before I made the change but could not display new stuff that was added to the list after the change. I tried to close the program forcefully but the error kept repeating and would not clear. I probably had about 20 error dialogs on screen (seemed to be all the same). I ended up having to reboot in the middle of the sermon.

Is there a fix?

Are you using the latest version of Zionworx? Available on the downloads page is 2.6.49
