Registration Key

Some has inserted the wrong registration key (their own, not the church's key) on one of our laptops. Whilst this is not an issue practically, I would like to correct it if I can. Any ideas, or is it buried someone and encrypted beyond the reach of humankind?

Hi,

Yes it is actually possible to change the installed licence key.
You just need to temporarily edit the shortcut which you use to start ZionWorx.
First, right-click on the shortcut icon and choose 'Properties' then view the 'Shortcut' tab.
Next edit the 'Target' box to include the word 'register' after the filename e.g.

"C:\Program Files\ZionWorx\ZionWorx.exe" register

Then click OK and run ZionWorx from the shortcut and you'll be presented with an Enter Key dialog box where you can enter the new details. Finally, re-edit the shortcut to remove the word 'register' again and click OK.

Hope that works for you! :)

I wished I'd checked these forums before I tried searching the Windows registry and examining the contents of various files ... an easy solution to my problem! :?   :D
