Foreign characters in photo file names

When I upgraded to 2.6, it seems like photos with file names containing swedish characters å, ä and ö does not show up any longer and an error message is displayed: cannot open file "". Anyone knows a work around or do I need to change the names of all my photo backgrounds to something more international?

This should work, but maybe you've found a bug...!
Please can you email me one such background file with Swedish characters in the filename and I will investigate...

Just to report that we've now investigated and fixed this bug, which has actually always been there since we introduced Unicode support in v2.5 (!)

So many thanks for reporting this and the fix will be released in the next maintenance release of v2.6 (which will be early next month I expect).
