I have a colleague who still uses v2.0 and I have just advised him that v2.6 is available. However, the database conversion utility (that converted a v2.0 to a v2.5 database) that was bundled with v2.5 seems to be missing from the v2.6 installation. Will the "Database Import" option in v2.6 import a v2.0 database satisfactorily?

The DB Convertor program does exist in v2.6. It just does not work on Vista (or my copy of Vista) unless I upgrade, and then it did work.
Convert using above program to generate a v2.5 format database - the database has not changed to v2.6

I have the same problem - running V2.0 and now want V2.6. When I run DBConv.exe it tells me "The demo version of Topaz only works when Delphi is running". Is there some other converter that I'm not seeing - perhaps in one of the menus in V2.6? Obviously can't open anything in the data import dialog. I'm running XP. Where can I get V2.5 from?

If you PM me, I can email it to you. Although there may well be a download link on the site by that time!

Apologies. It appears that the conversion utility included in the 2.6 build is faulty.
We have uploaded a working version of the conversion utility to the downloads page. It is in the 'Old Versions of Zionworx' section towards the bottom of the page. NOTE - this is NOT an installation program just the utility program. Save it to a location on your computer and run it, following the on-screen instructions.
