Does Zionworx natively support Office 2007 - ie Powerpoint 2007? - don't want to shell out £80 otherwise as we already have OpenOffice!

ZionWorx acts as a wrapper around PowerPoint (versions 2000, XP, 2003 and 2007) so a full installation of the application is required.
We will be looking at supporting Impress in a later version but that is some time away.

As both Powerpoint and Impress support extended desktop with dual monitors, I can't see the big advantage of having a plug-in for Zionworx. If you minimise Zionworx and have your Impress presentation cued and set to display on Monitor 2, all you have to do is switch to the slide show and away you go.
The only thing you need to be aware of is that the mouse pointer needs to be dragged on to the presentation screen or you will not be able to advance the slides!

Will I need to reinstall Zionworx after install Office 2007?

This also means that Zionworx will open .PPTX and other PowerPoint 2007 native file formats that older versions of Zionworx would not open even if Office 2007 was installed on the machine.
