Could you please advise the keyboard steps for centreing song texts vertically on screen?

Hit Control + E Keys, That should center your text, Keyboard shortcuts are listed under the help menu in Zionworx

Centreing vertically isn't possible currently for the displayed text - if I understand what you are asking. To move the text further down the page you will have to change the margins for the background image however this limits the number of lines of text that can be displayed. As mentioned by James Control-E will centre the text horizontally.
