quick notes

Please can you tell me if quick notes can be edited in any way?

Yes they can be.
Select the quick note in the play list and press the quick note button to edit. You will have to select something else in the play list to add a new note.
Perhaps worth mentioning that quick notes are also included when the play list is saved which is handy for pre-setting up a list.
