Song of Fellowship Plug in

I'm having a problems following the plug in by Nick Carter. When I convert the file using Python it doesnt put the songs into the correct pattern, therefore I cant make up a database. I followed the instructions, made all the ajustments but still no joy!
Can anybody help?
