Tip for WinXP - Antialias Text

Postby Christian » Sun Sep 28, 2003 6:07 pm

If you're using Windows XP, you can increase the screen refresh speed by setting the 'Text Antialias Level' to 'None' in the Preferences within ZionWorx.

N.B. This shouldn't have any effect on the quality of the text output, because WinXP does font antialiasing itself, but it will speed up how quickly ZionWorx can redraw the screen text (especially on a lower spec PC) :)

If your using a overlay key or a mixing desk after the 'words PC' to put video behind your words be sure to turn all screen anti-aliasing off in the windows control panel to avoid nasty masking artefacts.
