PowerPoint 2000 on Dual Screen

Postby bens106 » Fri Apr 29, 2005 4:14 pm

This is not a directly ZionWorx Related topic but we use powerpoint 2000 on our church computer, this works grand on dual screen but each time you open a presentation (even if it has been opened in this computer before) you have to go Slide Show>Set-up Show then select to show on the Second Monitor. The Dual Screen is Set up correctly, as Zionworx functions alright but i was just wondering if anyone knew if you can switch the default so that it automatically wants to display on the second screen.

Thanks in Advance

Powerpoint earlier than XP doesn't give you the ability to save your set-up to display on second monitor as default.

Powerpoint 2000 is before XP version thus you'll have to set it up each time you load up PowerPoint...

I think it's the programmers job to include the feature and Microsoft always gets the blame :-)

Hi Ben, Peter & Chris,

Good news - I believe I've worked a way round this PPT 2000 bug, and it'll be in the v2.5 release at the end of the month. Hang in there!

Cheers,
Christian.
