Postby pbc_avcontroller » Thu Aug 19, 2004 3:36 pm

Has anybody had got any experience with StarOffice 5.1 as opposed to MS Access?

Related to this is has anybody got any hints how to efficiently add txt files to Zionworx or the Database (StarOffice)?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

God bless

Ewan

Staroffice like Open Office allows you to address an external database engine via an ODBC source, for example Open office can be used to develope MYSQL Databases remotely or locally via the My ODBC driver. The interface is very similar to MS Access but is obviously a lot more powerful.
