Powerpoint Presentation with embedded music

Hi. Sunday PM the preacher gave us a powerpoint presentation that had an embedded mpg music clip on the first slide to automatically play. (with no advance notice!! - but that's another issue altogether :( ) The music didn't play through Zionworx though - the slide showed but no sound.

When running the slide show from powerpoint itself the music played fine.

Any ideas if this is a bug or something wrong with my settings?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Christian:

Just to let you know I experienced the same problem this week too.

Thanks for the great program and your ministry to us and for the Lord.

Warmly,
Eric

Just to add my 2 cents worth: I have experienced the same thing. I have tried running Zionwork/Powerpoint on several different computers and I get the same results. WAV or MP3 files embedded in the Powerpoint presentation do not play when controlled by Zionworx, but play fine if you jump to the Powerpoint and control it from there.

I realise this is an old thread (I'm a new user!) but if it helps - I'm using Xp with Sp2 and PP2003 - embedded music works fine. Hope it maybe throws some light on the problem

Thanks Ian,

So there's a simple answer - everybody should upgrade to M$ PowerPoint 2003!!!!

Only kidding  we'll add this to the list of stuff to investigate...

Cheers!
