Zionworx user guide

Postby MrFurious » Tue Jun 29, 2004 6:47 pm

I was wondering if anybody in the forum has created some sort of document that gives a step by step guide to using Zionworx that they'd be willing to share. My church is looking for a newbie guide, so I thought to come to the experts.

Thanks very much!

Jim,
Please update your profile and provide your e-mail address. I could e-mail you a copy but you still need to "customise" it.

To whom it may concern:

Although I am more than happy to share the userguide with anyone, but please send me an e-mail to william.ting@shell.com or just click on my profile. Without knowing your e-mail address, there is no way for me to know how to send you a copy of the userguide.

God bless,
William

William, (and Edd)

Would it be worth putting it somewhere on the website so that people could download it without having to bother you?

That sounds like a good plan to me

But it's not up to me so...Edd?

I have a different version of a user guide for zionworx as well if you want to put it on the site?

Great idea! I actually thought that myself yesterday but forgot to act on it...

Edd - any chance you could put these User Guides on the Download page with author credits??

William and Chris - thanks guys!

Training Manual

Postby Rkel » Sun Nov 21, 2004 12:43 pm

I have written a training manual/beginners guide for use in our church, as most users are novice PC users , it is fairly basic with lots of pix. It is as expected relevant to our church setup but would be helpful to anyone who is working on a training manual. I would be happy to send to anyone who would like a copy

No problems with adding user guides to the downloads page...

I am in the process of a full website upgrade and would like this sort of things emailed to me in the next week would be great.

This will then add to the new look of the website.

Regards
Edd

PS william has already sent me his version for loading onto the website.

I can accept most formats however I will convert to PDF as this is better for use on the web.

User guide

Postby kck » Sun Nov 21, 2004 8:45 pm

This just gets better and better.
Having several guides written by different people could be useful. Then others could pick the one that best meets their needs.
I like PDFs but is it also worth having them in a different format so that they can be edited after downloading?

Thanks again everyone,
Steve

No problem I will have two downloads available.

The editable version and the pdf.

This should help.

New website should be ready in the next week or so.

Regards
Edd

PS all files should be sent to resource@zionworx.org.uk

I have had a few delays....a problem with the auto registration kept me busy.

These has caused a few delays but hopefully will resolve all the issues during the Christmas holidays.
