Projector loosing video input

Postby frink » Mon Jan 12, 2004 11:10 am

Hiya,

After some time of being faded out our projector decides that there is no
longer any video input and displays it's lovely Hitatchi - we aint got no RGB
screen.

Is there any way around this?

Also, can I make it fade out to a bitmap instead of just blackness? I'd fade to
a black background with a watermark 'Twynholm Baptist Church' so the
projector still sees something.

Thanks,
Leigh

Hi,

I expect there must be some display setting within the projector that you can change to override this default 'timing out' behaviour?

I've not actually heard of this before, but somebody else must have - can anybody else offer some advice for Leigh :?:

Hi,

Our Sanyo projector displays a loss of signal message if it really does lose signal at any point.

Does the problem occur only with ZionWorx or does it happen if you run PowerPoint or other software where the output to the second monitor (projector) is a blank screen?

Is yout machine set to powerdown either screen or hard drive after a relatively short period?

I expect you have tried/tested these things but I thought they might be worth mentioning.

Also, it might help diagnosis if you described your machine, video adapter/card, whther its on a network etc.

Regards,

Paul
